This step took as lot of time as there are many steps combined with many parts. After I primed the pieces I had to drill them again to get a good fit.
When rivetting the pieces make sure to use the trick with the plastic washer I described earlier (see next few posts starting as 5/15//2011). As you have several pieces of metal together ( the part with the doublers) you have to make sure to squeeze them together before squeezing the rivet otherwise you will have te rivet expanding between the pieces of metal.
