Step 1 installing the ststic ports, there are no real instructions, meaning a step by step with pictures. I read the limited instructions and builders logs and I will share the steps with you.
- Place the ports in the holes and use your rivet puller to pull the rivets. - I found out the the mandrel of the port was thicker than the reguler LP4-3 and the mandrel did not fit in the hole, see picture 3. I had to put a different size piece on the front. - Pull the rivet and the mandrel will come out but the head is still in the static port. - Reading a builders log it described the method of drilling as hole in a piece of wood and holding it behind the skin while driving out the inner piece. - I used the mandrel of a regular rivets and pucnhed the inner part out while my wife was holding the piece of wood.
