I recently received an order of cherrymax rivets from Aircraft Spruce, which I needed to finish off the forward top fuselage skin. There are quite a few rivets that I cannot get a bucking bar to the back of, so instead I decided to go with the cherrymax option. These are blind rivets which have the same holding strength as a solid rivet. They cost more, but sure do make life easier.
Anyway, today I put in about 20 of these cherrymax rivets, and am now nearly done with the forward top fuselage skin. I just need my apprentice back to help with the last of the solid rivets, and then it'll be finished.
