Brief Description: 2: Canopy Roll Bar & Front Deck Skin
I got the canopy roll bar properly bolted down this morning. As expected, it was tricky getting the spacers, nuts and washers on the roll bar mounting bolts. They go on the inside of a folded channel, and it's very difficult to get your fingers in there. Anyway, I ended up putting a little superglue on the washers to hold them to the nut, so there was one less item to balance upside down. I also got a stick with some blue-tac on the end to help hold the spacer in place. I got there in the end, and all bolts are now done up.
Next I took out the cleco's, one side at a time, covered up the cockpit and top of the skin with sheets, and painted the underside of the skin where I'd missed it. The third picture below shows where.
