On both sides of the fuselage I've got some wiring and plastic tubing running behind the main spar bulkhead cover, down into the space between the two spar pieces. I took some measurments and it would seem that when the wing spar is bolted in place then the gap between the spar and the cover will be very small, maybe nothing. I need to make space, so modified the bottom of the cover plate as shown in my photos below.
I cut out a section of both the floor cover, and vertical bulkhead cover, in the area where the wing spar finishes. This will provide space for wires and tubing to run without pinching.
I then made up a small cover plate which will screw onto the bulkhead cover. I'll use countersunk screws so they don't catch on the leather seat.
I cut an opening so wires and tubing won't get jammed against the wing spar
