Today I replaced the short bolts holding the pilot side gear leg bracket (weldment) in place. This one was much easier than the other side, because I didn't make the same mistake with the plastic wiring bush. All up about an hour. Quite a medley of tools required however, as many of the bolts are in very awkward places.
No pictures, but while in this space I also ran in the coax cables for the VHF Com and Transponder antennae (is that plural for antenna?). The coax cables run through wiring bushes in the main spar (one of which caused me so much grief yesterday) to a spot underneath the gear leg brackets. The pilot side will have the VHF Com dog-leg antenna, and the passenger side will have the little "ball-on-a-stick" transponder antenna.
