Brief Description: 3: Modifying the Park Brake Valve
With the rudder pedals connected up again, and the ability to sit in the cockpit and test the controls properly, with my feet, I noticed something wasn't quite right. I seemed to have more travel on the left pedal than on the right. Upon further inspection I found that my park brake control cable bracket, which I made about 12 months ago, prevents full right rudder pedal travel by about 10%. I need to rectify this.
I removed the control cable bracket (easier said than done) and started thinking up a plan, but then I got tired! This is going to wait until tomorrow.
In the meantime, I did at least get the brake lines properly connected to the park brake valve body (second picture below).
