I finished off today with my first go at bending up aluminium tube. I'd read in another builders log how he split the brake lines into two sections for easier installation. He did this by placing a bulkhead fitting in one of the cover plate brackets at the main spar, which I thought was a very good idea.....so I did the same.

Using my bending and flaring tools I achieved the result you can see in the picture below. The second picture shows the additional bulkhead fitting. I'll need to make up another piece now that goes from here over to the point where it exits the fuselage (and runs down the landing gear leg to the brake caliper).

The third picture shows the "mud map" that I followed when making my bends. It also includes a list of the pipe fittings that I'm now going to need to order, to replace the ones I took for my bulkhead fitting modification.
