Brief Description:  Landing Gear Weldments

With one dreaded landing gear weldment installed, I figured I'd spend a couple week nights and chip away at the other one in small pieces.

I approached the task at hand with apprehension and foreboding, but was pleasantly suprised. Second time around everything seemed to come together so much easier. All the little lessons and colourful words of the previous day have made a huge difference.

Tonight I got to the point where I had my series of five new holes drilled in the fuselage sidewall in just 45 minutes. Yesterday, on the other side, it took me 2 hours to get to this point.

All up tonight I spent two hours on installation of the second landing gear weldment, and I'm nearly finished, and with hardly a single colourful word to be heard. It was still a difficult task, just easier when you've done the same thing once before.

I've come to the realisation that when it comes to aeroplane building, things are so much easier the second time. I think I should stop building this aeroplane, and order a new one. Being my second build it'd then go so much smoother.
