A very hot one out here in the desert today. When I packed up for the day my car display showed 47C. Even with my little air conditioners going it was still over 40C inside my workshop.
First up today I did some more of the left side step. I'd already primed it during the week so today I simply applied some tank sealant to the external skin surface, spreading it evenly around where the step flange meets the skin surface. I then cleco'd the step into place and bolted the tube support up to the underfloor rib.
I'll give it the rest of this week for the tank sealant to properly cure, then next weekend will rivet both steps.
