Brief Description: 3: Wiring Holes in the Main Spar
With the temperature pushing over 40C for most of the afternoon I slowed my works down and spent some time thinking about where allmy wiring would run. Vans provide guidance on where holes may be drilled in the main spar to facilitate additional wiring, so I cut out the templates provided and taped them into place.
I won't drill anything just yet, but will leave the templates in place to give me visual clues as I think this through.
But for now it's just too hot...so I'm packing up for the day.
It's okay to drill a 1" hole in the spar, just so long as the centre is within the small box

Some extra holes down the centre will make life easier when running wires
