Although I have bought a quick-build kit, the instructions provided are for the "slow build" builder and you need to check every step to see if it has been done or not. As I went down the page of instructions the next item requiring my attention was assembly of the control column. Cool.
Other than getting the washers in place, there was nothing particularly difficult about this. The two centre floor ribs have a little lift out section that allows you to get the control arm in place (see picture). This is handy.
I also fitted snap-in plastic grommets wherever required. These help protect the wiring as well as brake and fuel lines.
