This morning I finished off the little aileron bellcrank inspection lights. I made off the wiring into male/female molex connectors, then connected up my 12V power supply to verify that they work okay. All good.
I also decided to give the little electronic timer module I bought off ebay a test as well. Works a treat. For the moment I've adjusted it so that the LED lights come on when the pushbutton is pressed, and automatically go off after 6 minutes.
This should give enough time to inspect bellcranks in both wings as part of my pre-flight walk around. If not then I can just adjust the trimpot so it stays on a bit longer.
