I've been concerned that my freshly painted instrument panel will get scratched if I do up the mounting screws too hard, so I searched ebay for some thin black nylon washers ... and found some.
Today I fitted them and am quite pleased. They're hardly visible, and best part is I can now do up the screws more securely without fear of scratching the paintwork.
