I also spent some time today researching my future carbon monoxide monitor wiring. I'm going to install a Guardian Avionics 353D-201 remote (behind panel) monitor which will have both visual and audio alarm outputs. A feature of this particular version is that it also has a serial connection straight to the Dynon Skyview which will allow the display of CO parts-per-million (ppm) direct on the screen.
I downloaded the relevant drawing and ran all the wires to a space under the map box, on the passenger side of the panel. I was able to find a spare male 9-pin d-sub connector so I also made off the wires, ready to plug straight in when I get my CO monitor. I just need the plastic outer shell.
