Throughout the course of my build I've been playing around with instrument panel layouts. I was originally planning on a standard six pack, however after attending Oshkosh 2017, and seeing some of the beautiful glass cockpit designs, I've changed my mind.
Below is my version 02.01 glass cockpit design. It includes twin Dynon 10" displays, plus a stand-alone Gemini PFD as "back-up". In practice I'm guessing I'll be using my primary Dynon as moving map (with OzRunways installed), and will fly off the Gemini.
What's not shown on my screen capture below is the Alpha Systems AoA head-up display. This will mount on top of the panel, and includes a flip-up HUD for use when landing.
I put down just five hours here, however in all reality I've probably spent at least 100 hours playing around with designs over the last 12 months.
