Another "must-have" tool is a torque wrench, calibrated in inch-pounds (not foot-pounds as is normally the case).
It is strongly recommended to use the torque wrench on a test bolt prior to using, to get a feel for how it "clicks over". I didn't do this and stripped the first bolt I used it on!
