Sanded back the left elevator wing tip this morning, and then mixed up another batch of resin and applied to the remaining small hollows. Also applied to the right elevator tip as well, being much more careful to not apply too much.
I also added quite a bit more microsphere filler to my resin mix this time, with a resultant consistency more like toothpaste. Apparently this will help make sanding easier as well.
My aim here is to have a completely invisible join where the fibreglass tip meets with the elevator skin, just like my mate's awesome RV-7A ............ thanks for the inspiration here Pete.
