Today I spent a couple hours on the wing tip fairing job that I started yesterday. The epoxy had set much harder than I expected, and sanding it back was a very time consuming job. I'll know to not apply it so liberally in future. A mate also suggested mixing in quite a bit more filler, to make sanding a little easier. After sanding I mixed up some more epoxy and added to the low spots.
I also spent some time today rivetting the two halves of the map box together, trying very hard to not scratch my nice spray paint finish on the inside.
No pictures, but I also finished off the tail light mounting plate by blind rivetting in place, and tapping out the fixing holes for the LED light to 1/8".
Sanding, sanding, sanding.......
A time consuming task, but the results will be well worth it once finished
