With the damaged skin disaster now behind me I got going again with assembly of the trim tab. I mixed up another 1oz pot of tank sealant and applied to the two stiffeners, which I then placed inside the trim tab skin at the locations nominated on the drawings.
I then cleco'd the top skin to the spar and hinge, and then clamped it all together with the wooden clamping blocks I made yesterday.
I set the blind rivets at each end of the trim tab, and then used the pneumatic rivet tool to set the rivets along the spar.
I'll now leave this for a week while the tank sealant properly sets.
