Had some time after work tonight so thought I'd keep chipping away at the right elevator assembly. I riveted the control horn onto the elevator spar and inboard rib, which didn't go without incident. I had one damaged rivet head, so drilled it out and did it over.
I also remembered that there was a row of holes along the bottom side of the elevator skin that still needed to be dimpled, so did that as well, before then cleaning the inside surfaces of the skin with alcohol in readiness to spray paint with acid etch primer.
