Okay, that's the horizontal stabiliser, vertical stabiliser, and rudder finished. Just the elevators and trim tab to go and the empennage is all done.
There is a lot of stiffeners in the two elevators, so the rest of today was spent marking out the thirty-one pieces, cutting them all to rough size with a pair of tin snips, sanding to final size on the belt sander, and then smoothing them at the scotchbrite wheel.
Doesn't sound like much, but this took me three hours ..... and now it's beer-o'clock.
