Work on this goddam cowl just seems to go on forever. Next up today I started on fitting the horizontal hinge pieces that hold the two cowl sections together.
I cut and pre-drilled the bottom hinge pieces at the workbench, then match drilled to the bottom cowl as shown in the pics below. I also took note of the drawing comments and let the hinge centreline drift upward toward the rear (firewall) end. Apparently this will help make getting the top cowl on and off.
