I spent a few hours today finishing off the empennage fairing, and I'm not at all happy with how it fits. Put simply....... it doesn't.
The left side isn't too bad, but on the right side the fibreglass fairing doesn't fit in tight against the vertical stabiliser. The screws pull the fairing in, and of course where there is no screw, then it doesn't pull in. This creates an awesome (not) wave effect as you can see in the second picture below.
The plane will no doubt fly okay like this, but it just does not look good. I'll leave it for now but will definitely seek advice later on how to get a nice finish.

....and I'm not happy with how it fits. It doesn't.
