While waiting for paint to dry on my oil cooler parts, I also did some work on the centre console. I want to fit something just in front of the console box, and came up with the idea of a tray to keep small odd and sods. The pictures below show what I built.
This will fit neatly between the seats and will prevent pens, pencils, mars bars etc from rolling away. I'll line it with some felt material that I've got, plus I'll put a false bottom in the deepest part of the wedge, just to make it easier to physically pick up items.
