I was looking at where I've temporarily cleco'd the pitot in the left wing, and noticed that it's not going to be very easy later in life if I ever want to work on it. Check the first picture below. There will be an inspection panel right above the aileron bellcrank. My pitot is to the inboard side of this, and the pitot tube pneumatic fitting a bit further inboard again. I'd never get my hands in far enough to disconnect the fitting if I needed to take out the pitot head.
While it's still easy to do so, I decided to move the pitot further outboard which then leaves the fitting directly under the inspection panel. See the "after" photo below.
