Brief Description:  3: Joystick Wiring

I also spent a couple hours today playing around with the pilot side (my side) joystick. With the seats in place, and from sitting in the aeroplane last week, I noticed that the joystick is still too high. I need to cut some more off. I also noticed that the push-to-talk (PTT) button holds in when pressed. This is not good. Today I fixed both these issues.

1: I took the joystick controller off and shortened the tube on the pilot side. No biggy.

2: I pulled the joystick controller apart and found the source of the stuck PTT button. A wire was jamming against the button mechanism when all the screws were tightened. I formed a small recess in the plastic housing with my dremel ..... all good. I love my dremel!

I also rewired the PTT button. I made an incorrect assumption about how it needs to work when I originally wired it up, so I took the opportunity today to rectify. All good.
