Brief Description:  1: Pilot Headset Jack Wiring

First up today I did a bit more on the comms system, and in particular, the pilot side (my side) headset jack wiring.

I fabricated a couple small brackets which I rivetted to the underside of the arm rest. These brackets each accept three wiring bushes, one for the headset earphone cable, one for the headset microphone cable, and one for the push-to-talk (PTT) wires from the joystick.

I also needed to drill three holes for wiring bushes in the centre section bulkhead (picture two below). I'd previously sought Vans technical advise on this, with the response that "it should be okay".

I'll solder the wires to the jacks later.
