I decided some time ago that I'm going to install a proper carbon monoxide monitoring system, rather than the cheap ugly "credit card" things that you stick to the panel, and as part of this installation I will need a dedicated warning light and test/mute button. Also, to ensure this looks right amongst the other switches on my panel, I naturally had to source a matching Honeywell AML series illuminated pushbutton for the job. Today I fitted this button.
For now I've just got a blank amber lense, however I'm going to get one engraved with CO ALARM.
I also spent some time today just contemplating my switch wiring. I fitted all the switches to the panel and then just read through the VP-X wiring manual to double check my understanding of how it all needs to come together. I'm also doing some funky things with some of the switches, so I don't want to rush this part.
Fitted a combo test button/warning light for the carbon monoxide monitor
This important warning light will be right in my line of view
Switches installed and ready for wiring .... after first double checking with the VP-X manual
