Another job I made some progress on today was the flap position sensor mounting bracket. I actually took a big step backward on this one as I did not like my initial mounting bracket that I started last week. Not only was it somewhat unweildy, I realised that it would not actually work in practice. Long story short, after an hour or so of trying to work out how to make it work, I ended up putting it in the scrap bin and started again with a different idea.
The pictures below show my revised mounting bracket. This version has the sensor in a fixed position which is much simpler, and much better. I've ordered some 1" adel clamps so that I can make up a connection point on the flap actuator arm, so must wait until they arrive before I can finish this.
