Brief Description: 2: Front Deck and Instrument Panel
Also today I made a start on the framework that holds the instrument panel in place. I'll call this the front deck, although I'm not sure is technically correct.
First up I clecoed the four attach angles to the back of the instrument panel. Two of these needed to be made from stock aluminium angle. I also clecoed the centre front deck rib to the instrument panel (as shown in the first picture below) so that I could accurately place my shop made angle sections prior to drilling.
I then made up the other parts required, match drilled, alodined and primed, all ready to start assembling tomorrow.
