Brief Description:  1: Dynon Skyview Network Hub

First thing topday was to finish off the mounting bracket for my network hub by fixing a few nutplates and then riveting into place just underneath the pitch servo motor. I mounted the netowrk hub onto my custom bracket with some 6-32 screws and then plugged in the servo motor.

I pondered the wiring route for the ADAHRS network cable for quite some time before deciding to bring it down the vertical brace that sits just aft of the baggage compartment. I don't want there to be any chance that this cable can get caught up in the elevator bellcrank assembly however, so I made up a small bracket that acts as a stand-off for the wiring. You can just see it at the top of the second photo below.

I spent ages working on this. The bracket in the photo is my third attempt, with the first two ending up in the bin. It includes two cable saddles as well as three bushes so I can use it to also route the Pitot, AoA and Static poly tubes.

To finish off in this area I cut the ADAHRS network cable to a good length and soldered on the 9-Pin Din plug.
