Brief Description:  Dynon Skyview Network Hub

A realtively cruisy afternoon today, continuing on with the pitch servo installation, or more specifically, with the Skyview network hub that the pitch servo will plug in to.

I've decided to install a network hub in the area behind the baggage compartment to minimise the number of Skyview wires that will need to run up to the instrument panel. In to this hub I will plug int he ADAHRS unit and the pitch servo. I think I'll also run the elevator servo wiring from the wing to this hub as well. From this hub will then be a single set of wires running forward to a second hub under the instrument panel.

Anyway, I needed somewhere to mount this little item, so measured and bent up a piece of scrap 0.030" aluminium, drilled some holes for fixing nutplates, and then match drilled through the flanges into a convenient spot right below the pitch servo motor. This will allow me to plug the pitch servo straight in, without the need for another cable.

After match drilling, dimpling, smoothing, alodinging etc, I then painted my custom bracket white. I'll let this properly dry overnight and finish it off tomorrow.
