Just a short day today. Yesterday was the local Rotary Christmas Pageant which is always a huge day. Very tired and sore from volounteer work.
I did manage to finish painting my ADAHRS bracket pieces. I had a very ugly paint run in one piece, so sanded it back and started again. These pieces won't be in public view, but I do want them looking the part all the same.
I also decided to mount the outside air temperature probe today. After some research I decided to install it under the horizontal stabiliser. Another good location is the bottom surface of the main wing, near an inspection cover, but I don't think the wires are long enough.
I'll order some plastic sleeving and run the wires along the z-channel rib up to the ADAHRS unit. Won't even need to drill holes in the bulkheads as it appears there's adequate clearance in the z-channel cut-outs.
ADAHRS bracket parts painted and ready for final assembly
The Outside Air Temperature probe fitted in the tail cone. Will be under the horizontal stabliser
