Brief Description: Wings and Fuselage are Delivered

I received word during the week that my Quick Build wings and fuselage were ready for collection, so, armed with my trusty Holden V8 ute, a massive car trailer, a heap of pallets, and some heavy duty tie-down straps, I headed down to Adelaide to collect my crates.
It was a slow trip back up the highway, with the 560km trek taking me seven hours. My fuel consumption went through the roof......... 20litres/100km.
When I got back to Roxby, friend Brett Rudiger brought his forklift around so we could unload my goods. The large crate, containing the fuselage, flaps, ailerons and various other small parts, weighed in at 400kg, whereas the smaller one, containing the two main wings, was a very respectable 160kg.
It's been a big day. I think I'll leave the uncrating for another night.
