Today I determined the proper travel limit on the rudder and fitted the rudder stops. This should have been quick but as usual there was a surprise. Somehow I managed to get the rudder stops slightly too short and got the rudder a little too close to the elevators at maximum deflection. The only solution was to fabricate another set of stops. Anyway, the stops are installed with the exception of two rivets on each side that will be driven when I remove the tail feathers.
Should be working on the flap motor assembly during the next session as well as rudder control cables.
