Brief Description: Dimpling fuselage skins - part 2
Today I was able to complete the dimpling of all the fuselage skins currently match drilled (the mid side skins, aft side skins, and both aft bottom skins). After finishing the dimpling, I spent some time washing and lightly scuffing fuselage parts in preparation for priming. I concentrated on all the parts for the left side of the fuselage in this session. The parts were then set aside to dry.
I have decided to prime all the parts that make up the cockpit area. I considered just leaving these unprimed but I think the cockpit will look better with some type of interior paint (yet to be decided). I will keep priming to a minimum in the remainder of the fuselage but plan to prime mating surfaces and low areas where moisture may accumulate.
