Brief Description:  Some miscellaneous supplies for shop

Whoo Hoo! Merry Christmas and belated Happy Birthday to me. Check out a few stocking stuffers I so generously gave myself this week for being a very good boy the past year. And besides, the hangar and workshop supplies required a little replenishment. One of the challenges at this point in the airplane build is every time you need to order a small item it can cost more for shipping than for the part or tool. My solution is to add a few products that may be needed in the future to make the shipping charges more economical. Kind of like "bargains" that Connie sometimes can't pass up.

Anyway, look closely at the stocking stuffers and you will see some interesting stuff including some 3/16" clecos, some 20,22, and 28 gauge wire (the 28 gauge wire was a real bargain), two different tweezers, #30 and #40 drill bits, -3 universal head rivets, #8 screw dimple dies, a couple rod end bearings to complete my flap actuators, 3 different size heat shrink, a heat shield, two hemostats, a set of jeweler files, and an aerobatic warning placard.

Why hemostats? Well, they are great for clamping off bleeders resulting from workshop accidents and they are handy for a variety of tasks in the shop where you need a clamp. Of course, if you are using them for the former it is always a good idea to sterilize them first. I keep plenty of alcohol in the shop just in case!
