Brief Description:  Pancake Breakfast at Delaware, OH

Got up early this morning and launched for Delaware Municipal Airport. Someone said there were going to be pancakes and coffee. That's all it takes for me to get motivated. In addition, I like flying early in the day or in the evening here in Ohio. It's much cooler at the beginning and end of the day here and usually the visibility is also better. We get a lot of hot, humid, and hazy days. Anyway, the breakfast was good and seeing a bunch of flying friends and meeting some new folks was great.

I also had the chance to check Brent's RV-8 (checkout the shiny bird with the black/white checkered nose) to see how far the stick moves forward when it is full forward and full right aileron. I fabricated a small auxiliary panel mounted up against the right gear tower and I think it is likely to interfere with the stick or my knuckles. So, that just means I have to bend the stick to position it back in my lap just a bit. Actually, that's ok since I was looking for a solid excuse to fabricate a bent stick.

I have included pictures of Skipper's yellow RV-7, Brent's silver RV-8 (Contrary Mary), and a silver Globe Swift, one of my favorite certified birds.
