Brief Description:  Installed left tank end ribs

The left tank end ribs were installed today. The flanges were coated with proseal and the ribs inserted into the skins. The assembly was 100% clecoed, flange edges were smoothed to ensure no voids, and the assembly was placed aside to cure. In a day or two I will set the rivets wet and seal the shop heads on the rivets.

By the way, I have sealed some of the rivet heads and added some proseal to ensure good fillets on various ribs. I find it a bit difficult to reach in the tank, apply the proseal and get a good look at the result. Getting light into the interior and working in the confined space with the sticky sealant is no fun. I wish there was a way to check the seal of the tank ribs, skin, and rivets before installing the baffle. I have a fear of getting the tank completely done and then finding a leak that can't be corrected externally. I suppose other builders have had the same concern.
