Brief Description:  Completed the training project

Clecoed and riveted the top skin to the spar. This required spreading the trailing edge and reaching inside the assembly to hold the bucking bar. Once the spar was riveted, used a pneumatic squeezer to rivet aft along the ribs. Last two rivets require special tools.

Back riveted the trailing edge wedge to both skins using a mushroom set and back rivet plate (see manual Sec 5H). I was not entirely satisfied with the quality of the trailing edge riveting but I don't believe this technique is used on the RV-8 kit.

Bent the leading edge of both skins using the roller tool as outlined in Sec 5J and 5K. I found this operation to be more difficult than expected requiring considerablle hand strength to accomplish the final fit. Riveted the leading edge skins together using blind rivets called out in the plans.
