This ram was made from 1/2" steel rod. The appropriate size hole was drilled in its end to accept a standard male dimple die. This tool can be used with a hammer and appropriate female die tool (see previous log entry) to dimple aluminum sheet in tight spaces (trailing edge of control surfaces). It can also be used with the dimple tool from Cleaveland Tools shown in Image 3.
