There are a few parts from the center section forward that need to be bent slightly to match the curvature of the fuselage sides (landing gear box outer plates, center section plates, and some large gussets). To accomplish this task a simple tool must be fabricated. It's made from a couple pieces of 2x4 separated by two 1/8" spacers (mine are made from some scrap aluminum). The tool is clamped to the edge of the workbench, the part inserted per the instructions, and smoothly bent. The bending process is a repetitive operation. The shop instruction manual provides a good description of the process and it works quite well.
