Brief Description: Finished the vertical stabilizer
Clecoed the VS-801PP vertical stabilizer skin to the skeleton.
Riveted the skin to the understructure beginning at the intersection of VS-707 and VS-702 and working towards the tip. Restarted again at intersection and riveted along the front spar towards the root and along the VS-707 rib starting at the front and working towards the rear spar.
Clecoed on the rear spar assembly and installed the remaining rivets along the rear spar and end ribs (used pneumatic squeezer). Blind riveted the rear spar assembly to VS-707.
I am not happy with the final riveting on the vertical stab skin. There are three areas where a rivet was either over driven or the bucking bar slipped allowing the skin to be marred. While the surface is structurally fine and the flaws would be hidden by paint, they will be noticeable if polished.
