There is a Giant Scale R/C Airshow at the National Museum this weekend so we decided to stop in for a little while to checkout the activities. As usual, it was a great event with lots of modelers and spectators. I could have taken hundreds of pictures but was too busy watching the flying. There were planes representing about every age of aviation from the Curtiss Pusher to modern jets.
I saw at least two examples of P-51s in the "Beautiful Doll" paint scheme. Thought I would take a snapshot of one for Danny King.
Should be back in the shop on Monday. If everything goes ok, I should be able to finish both flaps in my next session.
