Brief Description: Fabricated the tank/leading edge cradle
I had to make a run to Lowes this morning to get a 4x8 sheet of particle board. I had a 30" x 72" piece cut from the sheet to create a "fresh" surface on one of my work benches. The remainder of the sheet was used to make the required leading edge cradle. The cradle will be used to assemble both the leading edge and tank. I used a wing rib to mark the shape of the leading edge profile and after cutting the uprights with a saber saw, I glued some outdoor carpet on the working edge to protect the skins.
