I decided a partner would be needed to rivet the horizontal stabilizer to ensure the best possible results. Earlier attempts at handling the rivet gun and bucking bar simultaneously resulted in inconsistent results (not bad but not as good as desired). I made some practice pieces from shop scrap and asked my wife, Connie, if she would like to learn a new skill. She picked up the process quickly and we were able to get good results consistently. While she can handle the gun or the bucking bar, we seem to get the best results with Connie on the gun and me holding the bar.
