Brief Description: Rolled leading edge and riveted
Fabricated rolling tools for leading edge of left elevator. Rolled the leading edge, beveled overlapping skin with Cleaveland tool, and temporarily fastened with clecoes. Removed clecoes and fastened edge with blind rivets as identified on drawing. Elevator skins rolled easier than rudder. Not sure why the difference in degree of difficulty but could be skin thickness or perhaps temperature. Regardless, the results were good.
