Remove the splice angles (HS-810-1 and HS-814-1) from the spar channels. Taper the angle ends per the taper detail depicted on plans (DWG 3). This step was accomplished with the careful use of the vixen file and then cleaned up with the scotchbrite wheel.
Using a cardboard template and bench vise, bent the splice angles to 6 degrees per drawing (view B-B).
