Brief Description:  Creating windscreen fillet

You will recall I used washers as spacers between the canopy bow and the windscreen. Today I finished fabricating a fillet of varying thickness to fill the area/gap between the bow and windscreen. I managed this by filling the area between the spacers with the same paper clay material used earlier sculpting the canopy skirt. After sanding it to rough shape I used Poly-Fil and more sanding to get the final shape. Then it was a matter of taping if off and painting it black.

I should mention, the clay material is more like poly-fill than clay. It is paper and water based and when cured it becomes hard and may be sanded and painted if desired.
